This note is about administering domains or virtual servers through the web interface, not about working on them (use this other note to work on a domain).

Raising the quota of a domain and of its unix account

(The quota is edited as the master administrator, not as the domain administrator.) There are two quotas, one for the whole virtual server/domain and one for the unix account of the server. Here is the menu to edit the quota: Editing the quota of a domain

Raise both figures. The unix quota must be lower than or equal to the quota of the virtual server/domain.

  • To reach the FTP user management: FTP user management

  • Then click "Add an FTP user".

  • Fill in the form, setting the directory (a subdirectory of the site, for example public_html/coincoin) the user is allowed to reach: FTP user form

  • Test the connection with FileZilla or another client: Testing the FTP connection

  • Accept the server certificate: Accepting the server certificate

  • If this message appears, there is no significant problem as far as we know, it seems to be a FileZilla issue: FileZilla message
